ok hey everyone we just bought a daytona for a project car because we have seen them run low numbers at the track, this will only be our race/project car, we are new to the daytona and know nothing about it tho,
its a 1988 crysler daytona turbo(non-intercooler), its a 2.2, auto
does anyone know the stock hp on that?
also what are some mods we can do to it that will gain more hp? we are planning to put a intercooler with custom piping and a bov in it already, or is this daytona version even worth doing up? the turbo on it feels really strong

In '88 the 2.2L Turbo I had 142 horsepower.
They are definately worth doing up, I was going to do something similar with my '88 Shelby Z, but any extra money I get should and will go into my Roadrunner, so I sold the Shelby Z. It's not too hard to build them up to 500 horsepower. Here are a few sites that deal with doing just that:
