Hey everybody, i just purchased a 1992 IROC R/T (2.2L turbo III) and last night i was driving around doing some starting and shutting down, and noticed that after restarting, everytime i took the car over 4000RPM, the check engine light would come on. My car was at normal operating temperature, and at WOT( when the light would go on) my air/fuel ratio was all the way rich( the way it should be). My question is, does this car have a BCII engine management system, and do i need a code reader to retrieve these codes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would relax on the 4k shifting until you have it fixed....
