Might help if you are a little more specific.
I would assume that the doors aren't opening when you turn the headlights on.
If that is the case...based on my experience with the 89 that I had, there is a relay that goes bad seeing how the motors are just that, electric motors. On the 89s it was behind the dash somewhere in the middle of everything. At least that's where I had heard the relay tripping from.
You might also want to have the motors tested and ensure that they are functioning.

Here is a link to repairing your module, if they still used the same one in 91. Maybe someone can confirm? I repaired mine (actually had an electronic shop do the soldering for me for $10 bucks) and it now works like new.
