There is a daytona for sale near me and it has a siezed motor. it is non turbo, and is a 91? i will try and get some pics up shortly. the rest of the car looks pretty clean except for the front quater panel has a good ding in it, but that can be replaced or straightned, i don't know how the clutch and transmission is. I had a 91 Non Turbo Daytona with the 2.5L. It was running when I bought but quickly developed a knocking noise which eventually led up to the motor throwing a connecting rod through the block. If the rest of the car is in really good condition you might be able to score yourself a used 2.2L Turbo or 2.5L turbo motor and drop it in. From my experience though I would recommend simply looking for one that's in excellent condition overall. Daytonas don't book very high at all. They were cheap cars when they came out and they aren't worth very much now. Try checking your local classifieds, or craigslist and see if you can't find one that hasn't been in the hands of a teenager that thinks it's a hot rod.
