Default power surge

My 89 daytona is running beautifully until I go down the interstate for a hour or so then when I get into the city it will barely idle or die all together and surges when I barely give it gas. I've changed the throttle positioning censor. It acts as if it is starving for air

Sorry for the delay. Still having problems? I would start with a vacuum test and a quick scan of the ECU and sensors.

Hey I am new to this forum so I am little confused in making my posts. I am not that much eager about cars so I could not be able to share my experiences. But I hope that I could be able to have some knowledge on cars.
