Are the front seat of these cars suposed to be locking?? BY Locking I mean the back rest gets locked into position until the lever is pulled so you can then 'fold' the seat forward so you can kinda access the back seats. If they are suposed to be locking.. is it a common thing where they do not lock anymore... or how do you fix it so they lock into place.
They way they are working right now, the seat will 'lock' so you can't lean back, but the seat will freely fold forward... Is that right?

This seems to be a very common problem, both of my Shelby Z's had that problem. I think it's probably just a small part that gets worn away after awhile.

 

Do you know what the part is? or if it is even fixable??

 

I no longer have either of my Shelby Z's, so I cannot check it out, but I'm sure it is replaceable.
