Default is it normal to have oil in the ait filter and in the intercooler?

not a lot but like it covers the bottom half of the air filter and i just bought an turbo 2 intercooler and on the inside of one of the in/outlets it has some oil on the wall just a little. is this normal or what . i have an 88 turbo I dayton and i just got the innercooler for it.thanks

Yep it is normal. A lot of srt-4 owners have installed a oil catch can. Check out the srt-4 section, there is a million threads on them, where to buy them and how to make them.

you don't need a blow off valve but it wouldn't hurt to get one. this holds true if you plan on adding more boost down the road it will be needed then
