help i just had a fuse melt
well last night i took my 88 TI daytona for a quick spin when i relize the damn insturmet cluste gauge wasnt lit. the dang fuse melted in the socket. the one metal prong is fine but the other melted to where it plugs into. how can i get that out of how hard is it to take out the old and put in a new fuse pannel?
hey there, this has happend to me twice both in daytonas, working from the drivers side front parking lamp, trace the parkin lamp harness down to where it passes through the front inner metal bumper and repair the wires..they rub on the opening of the bumper ccausing a short to ground.
as far as the fuse box if it is neccasary to replace the whole assy. it is very time consuming and takes a great deal of patience,if that fuse holder is the only one fried i would just rough in a fuse between the two wires out side of the box.
