Do i need a ballast resistor for msd coil ???

well the instructions say i need an0.8 ballast resistor. but on dodge garage it said no. i just got the blaster coil 2 from msd.

Personally, I'd go with whatever the manufacturer of the ignition system says. A resistance of .8 doesn't sound like much, but it may prevent other, more major issues.

thats what i was thinking and they r only like $8 bucks anyway
