Default 6G72 Interchangeability
How interchangeable are 6G72 engines in the Daytona?
Could a DOHC 6G72 3.0L from a 2005 Eclipse (for example) be relatively easily swapped?

It will "bolt up" but that's where the ease ends. The Eclipse also never got the DOHC 3.0, it was the SOHC 24v motor.

You're looking for power, just build the SOHC 12V that's already there. It can easily break 200hp with simple JY parts swapping.
