Hey All! I was just wondering if anyone would know if a DOHC non turbo motor(220 HP model) from a stealth would fit into a 1993 Daytona IROC. I love the V8 RWD idea but it seems like a bit more work than I'm interested in. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

 

I would say that there is a good chance it will. I looked at doing that to mine before I put the V8 in it and there is room under the hood for it.I just sat a 5.7 hemi in mine so you should have room for it.dont know how hard it will be to make everything work with the motor but i'm sure it can be done[sm=signs003.gif]

 

Any idea how much more the DOHC motor would weigh?

 

not sure about that but I doubt if it would be a lot more ,at least probably not to much to make a lot of difference.I think it will work and thats what I would do if I did not want to cut up for a V8.mabye even a twin turbo model would fit but that would take some more investigating first.

 

Well, I guess this won't work! The Stealth 3.0 DOHC is backwards compared to the Daytona 3.0 SOHC. Everything is flip flopped, Trans and all. Anybody have any Ideas??????
