Default Electrical Issue

Hi.

I have a 93 Dayton V6 Auto. I am havin an eletrical issue. My horn does not work, my hi or low beams do not work and my power locks do not work. I am thinking that it is the relays. But would they all go at the same time? Is it maybe the relay panel? I have no idea. Has anybody else had this issue before?

I am also having another issue. My turn signals do not automatically shut off after the turn is completed and the high beam indicator on the dash is not working. Both of these issues were happening before my eletrical issue.

Any thoughts or ideas would be awesome!!!

Kris

I had a similar problem, but only dealt with the lights and turn signal. Replace the turn signal switch and the board in the shroud that controls the lights. That most likely will solve the problem of the lights and turn signal return. I don't know about the horn and power locks.

That is weird....check out your owner manual and see if it gives you a schematic of how your insturment panel/accessories are wired and connected. Go from there. If they dont have the schematic, check the fuses, if you have a volt meter, check to see if you are getting power to the fuses that control the funtions of your car that do not work, if not, try to trace the wires, see if there are any shorts, and if worst comes to wost, take it to a dealership.

Does it help that my power locks relay just clicks when the bottun is pressed? Also, is it hard to replace the relay panel?

Thanks for the replys!!!
