I'm a new member. Can someone direct me to a source for gauge pods? I'd like one for my A Pillar. I have several guages to mount and want a "clean install".

I hate to say it, but unless you have a Honda or a Neon, your best bet may be to buy a "universal" one and trim it to fit. Seems like the aftermarket companies only care about the rice burners or the neons. I'll be taking a few tips from Exline (here on the boards) and his killer Daytona and making a dash with all the guages... After I get his conversion in a couple years.....

 

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have considered a "universal" fit for the install, but I swear I saw a post some time ago naming a company that specifically sells Daytona pods. I'm pretty sure it was on this site?

I'll have to check with Forward Motion and LRE to see if they can point me in a direction. I need a place to mount my A/F ratio gauge, an Intake Temp guage, an Exhaust Temp gauge, a new Boost gauge, and the Electronic Boost Controller I purchased. Does anyone have pics of "custom" installs?

I'm trying to get ready for "Friday Night Street Fights" at "National Trail Raceway" near Columbus Ohio. I'm going to grab a gallon of Soy Sauce and eat some stir fried shrimp(s) . . . .

Only place I've seen that has guage pods for daytona's is FWDPerformance. They have a dual pod for 25 bucks. I have one in my 88. Just then get some Dupli Color from AutoZone or any other auto store. I was able to get an exact match for my red interior.
