Daytona - big block
Hello!
I'm new to Dodge motors, and this forum. I have a 1978 Dodge 440 motor with 67,000 miles on it, and I'm thinking of throwing it in a small Dodge 80's style light car. First I'm wondering how difficult it would be to put it in a Dodge Daytona, and is the Daytona Rear wheel drive? I don't know if they ever made a V-8 in a Daytona because Im a Mustang guy.

Dodge never put out a factory V-8 Daytona, but they used to put out a V-8 conversion, as well as a rear wheel drive conversion through MOPAR performance. Unfortunately you can't get either of these any more. I would STTRONGLY suggest looking up exline on here and checking out his conversion on his Daytona. It is by far the best looking honda killer I have EVER seen!
I can hook you up with the kit to V8 a daytona if you are interested, some of the parts are bolt in and some are welded in .so some fabrication skills will be recuired.
