92 v6 running rough on idle
Ok so last night I was Driving home no problems when my check engine light popped up. At the same time during stopped or idle times the engine ran rough shakeing quite a bit on a sort of steady pulse.
I did note a different scent to the exhaust was sort of a sweet gas smell.
this morning i ran the key code test and came up with 4 codes.
12 - dont know this one
37 - torque converter clutch solenoid CTK
27 - Injector Control Circuit
41 - Generator field not switching properly
Any help would be Much appreciated as my income is very limited atm.
Thanks

yea there is a good chance those are old codes. anyway I have taken the car in for repairs so hopefully they can diagnose it better. fortunatly i wont have to pay for anything!
THANK YOU AUNTIE!!!

Sometimes I do not rely on scanners because my friend tested his car and it turned out to be over 10 codes with problems. They wanted $700.00 for repair. Then his friend tested it and all he needed is o2 sensor. But from my own experience it could be:
1. O2 sensor.
2. Fuel regulator (very possible!)
3. TPS sensor (I had same problem with Mazda)
4. Spark plug wires (sounds weird but my other friend had exact. same problem with Ford and I had it once with Camaro).
Also I would check:
1. Bypass air hose
2. Cap and router
Very often problems can be very minor but they are pain in the *** to doscover...

hmm
Thanks for the heads up
turns out the fuel injector is causing the problem along with the o2 sensor.\
it seems the injector is continuasly spraying into cyl 5 and the cause of that is the computer so my mechanic is hunting down a new comp as i type.
well actually waiting for it as there is a week for delivery from chryster according to him lucky i am not the one paying for it.
