i was just wondering if there was a common speedometer problem with these cars or if its just mine all my gauges work except for the speedometer. i really need help i need my car please and thank u to anyone who even just reads this post till then keeps it E-Z

 

No i seems to be a fairly common problem with the daytona's you my want to check use the search and find some excelent tips on what to look for.

or in a nut shell it could be
1. sensor on trany (not too likely)
2. connecting cable or wireing depending on the year (probably one of the most common)
3. your kluster itself (hey it has happend before)
4. the computer itself (like in my case, and from what I've heard a common problem with most chrystler/dodge vehicles)

your best bet is to pull out the cluster and check the connection on the back it very well could just be loose too.

thanks man that basically covers it all lol well i pulled it out and mesed with the connections and it didnt help so im gonna call a junk yard tomorrow and see if i can get a new3 one and just hook that up other then that i am seriously considering taking it to a chrysler speacialist but thanks for all ur help man
