Dash problems
Hello, everyone. This is my first post.
I am thinking about buying a '90 Daytona ES, with a V6. The current owner is the Original owner. It has around 200K on the o.d., at least the owner sez it has, as the o.d. quit working some time back. Of course the engine smokes and the interior is filthy, but the price is right. But the problem is the DASH. Hardly anything works in it. He has the headlights up because sometimes they won't go up when you turn the lights on. The gas guage don't work, the radio don't work and I don't know what else. Can this car's computer be checked for faults? Any help out there? Thanks in advance for any,

I pulled one open with the same problem, I found out that the little gears that turn the Od where busted to nothing. You cannot get the gears but the dealership wants $350.00 and my old dash cluster to replace it. The gears are the same in the 87 and up that I am sure of, I just fixed mine with the gears from an 87.
