Has any one here tried to use a short throw shifter out of a Neon, in a Daytona

Good luck getting it to work, especially since the Daytona has the reverse with the lockout ring and reverse in a different place.

no, the 90-93 Daytonas did not have the lock ring. Yes, the 1st gen Neon short throw bolts in to those Daytonas. Direct bolt in.
It is cheaper to make your own.
