Which Turbo
I was thinking about getting a different turbo for my car, I currently use the VNT. Which turbo isnt laggy but is bigger than the VNT? Which is a good solution, I want higher boost but not alot of lag. Also, How hard is it to change the turbo on my 89' dayton shelby?

I'm not sure about which turbo, but when I had to take mine off for a core charge it was a pain! I first went by the manual but it didn't work. I ended up heading over to my local dealership and asking the mechanics. I ended up talking to a dodge turbo specialist and he told me that the manuals have always been wrong. The manuals say to unbolt the motor mount and slide the motor forward so the turbo can be removed. Well i tried this and it moved the motor forward about a half of an inch. The mechanic claimed he had been doing them for 15 years and the only way was to remove it by completely taking the head off. (exhaust manifold and intake left on) This involved taking off vaccum lines, the coolant and oil lines and everything else connected to the head. I figured that if i was getting a new turbo anyway the head gasket should probably be replaced anyway. I removed everything (with alot of patience) in probably 2 days-3 or 4 hours a day. If you're still looking for a turbo www.turbosunleashed.com has many to offer--you can custom build your own to fit your needs. One thing though, I did have trouble doing business with them. If you want details on that post again and i can thread it. Hope this helps!
