Default Brakes

My left rear wheel Locked up this morning... And i took apart the brakes ( rear disc) and found the the Clip and Nail that holds the right e-brake pad in place had broken. I have looked through ever book on ever manufacturer, and i cannot seem to find that piece. No one even lists anything for the E-Brake on a Daytona.... A Little Help finding a company that carries Daytona parts??

Default RE: Brakes

I know what you mean, my left rear wheel would have the same thing happen. When you apply the E-brake and then release it, the E-brake doesn't release on the left rear, it stays engaged. To get it to fully release I had to reach around the wheel from the rear and grab the hook and pull back on it to release it. After a while this wasn't very effective and needed a hammer or something solid to hit it back with to get it to fully release. When I had the car in getting all new pads, rotors and rear calipers, I had them check it out and told them what it was doing and they said that they didn't find anything wrong and that it (the cable) was moving freely. Lets just say that they are complete morons since it still had that problem.
