Denso-branded/Mopar boxed. Bought this from a dealer, hoping to use this in a ’98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Unfortunately, it turns out Chrysler changed the electrical connection on the back of ‘99+ alternators and the dealership will not let me return electrical components. This lacks the external field coil so I chose not to gamble with trying to make this work on my Grand.

Please make sure this fits your vehicle, because there is a chance I am wrong about the models. However, I validated all of these online using multiple sources, several times.
