OK so I have a problem. I have replaced the soleniod sensor on my car twice on the Evap System. The check engine light came back on . After a month the check engine light turns off then after another month it turns on. I don't think it is the canister. Has anyone else run into this problem and does anyone else have any suggestions. I have check the code and it comes back to the Evap System failure. I have also replaced the gas cap. [:@]

My car threw the same code I just shut it off and it stayed off so far. If you have ever filled up with the car running that could set it off. Also could be somthing to do with the filler neck if you have checked anything else. Could always replace the whole evap unit should be around $50 at your local Autozone.

 

I thought the evap unit consisted of the solenoid,canister and the gas tank only? what do you mean by repalce the evap unit?[sm=dontgetit.gif]
