Default Has any1 tried this with HIDs?

has any1 put HIDs in both their high beam and low beam when using projectors? i have found kits for both bulbs sizes and just wondering if it would be worth it?

no but the projectors have a seperate high beam all together so you just need to get a low-beam kit and just wire the high beams to come on when you turn them on.... lemme find you the link for a bunch of info on the projectors and HIDs....

why bother? you're not gonna need your high beams too often... the HID lows are intensely bright.... so yea

2 great reasons

1. i live on the mountain side where it gets very fog and deer are everywhere

2. oncoming traffic is always in ur lane because people can't drive here and cut corners on the roads

so i will see deer better and really get peoples attention that hey somethings coming at me

ok well idk how much good HIGH beams will do you in fog... if you recall drivers ed.... if you ever had it.... you need to use low beams to see through fog, high beams just reflect and refract the light back at you and away from the road ahead of you thus impairing your vision even further.....if you want to get a bright setup then get projecter headlights just get the H1 HID low beam kit hook it up, then get yourself some foglights (if you dont have them) and then get an HID kit for those(yes they make HID kits for your fog lights), then you will be all set.... or if you really want some WRC (World Rally Championship) kinda lighting you could always custom fab yourself a nice driving light bar that you weld or bolt to the frame so you can really blind the hell outa people and cause yourself some accidents.... specifically the ones where their front bumper meets yours! lol
