Well I had my hearing at the magistrate today for my "Driving at safe speed" ticket, which said on it I was speeding. I pleaded not guilty and got it knocked down to "Failing to obey a traffic control device" They kept my $120 but dropped the 3 points and wont notify my insurance. And since it's now on the record that I wasn't speeding, my rates wont go up from the accident because my "allstate accident forgiveness" now applies. So in the end I lost a neon, but got $1000 more than I paid for it from the insurance and only got a $120 fine, and my rates ain't goin up at all. Guess I made out pretty good. Please dont make me reexplain the whole accident, it takes forever to type. Just search for the two threads "GOODBYE" and "My Ticket" and read the story. Peace!

 

Congrats in a way I guess. Im not afraid of paying my ticket, its the insurance that worries me.
