Default Filter and Plugs

I think it is time to replace my air filter and spark plugs to gain a bit of throttle response and increase fuel mileage but I don't know what brands are best for each part. I was going to get a K&N Drop-In filter cause I have heard good things about K&N but I have no idea about plugs.

Getcha the K&N... basically yes it's a drop-in but I'm sure you've noticed that the OEM filter for our cars is round, and so is the K&N direct replacement...

Spark plugs... go with what suits you, there is much debate here, but rule of thumb, stay away from platinum unless you REALLY gotta have it... but there is no performance increase, and after some time there is a drawback to platinum plugs with our ignition systems.

Go with the OEM Champion replacements, or NGK coppers, or iridiums or V-powers... all good.
