Chrysler sent me a Garmin Nuvi and there was a small slip of paper that came with it that stated that it was part of my warranty aggreement??
What the ?? Anyone else get one? And where the heck do you put the thing?? Don't wanna clutter my dashboard? Any suggestions?

No, but I have a nuvi 260. It's pretty nice, though it does occasionally make really minor errors in directions-stuff so minor that you're within eyesight of the correct location when it directs you to the wrong one. It also doesn't make mistakes very often. Assuming it came with the windshield mount, that's where I'd put it.

ya i would also mount it on the far left corner of the winshield.

 

Yes, they sent me one in January as well. I did not recieve the note for an explanation though. I had to call the number on the box that turned out to be Garmin to figure out where it came from. I would have much rather saved another $200-300 than receive the gift, however, I'm not complaining. Thanks Dodge.

 

Well ya know us guys in Canada won't get a damn thing, so I wouldn't hurry to the post office.
I just wish we could get some of the little perks and incentives that customers in the U.S. get, it really isn't fair

 

My sells man stated that I would receive one had I purchased an extra warranty with the purchase of my truck. Didn't purchase the additional warrenty however.

 

That's correct. It came with the extended warranty.

 

More specifically, the Garmin Nuvi 255w came with any extended warranty as long as you spent a min of $1,000. I believe the deal was only good if you bought your extended warranty in November or December of 2008. The deal expired in Jan of 2009.

 

Just got mine 3 weeks ago. go figure.

Sweet, they must have extended the deal into the new year then. When I bought mine in Dec. the terms said it expired at the end of the year. Is this deal still going on then?
