What software version does everyone have on their mygig radio? I just bought my truck on February 2nd 2009, but I think I have an early release since I don't have the MDS indicator or tailgate lock.

My unit model is REN with software version 9.214 and gracenotes version 881.

The reason I'm wondering about an update is because my uConnect phone will not work with my phone but it works with my wife's. The phone pairs just fine but it will not stay connected.

The dealer wasn't able to give me any answers.

what phone do you have? i cant get my LG chocolate 2 to stay paired. it will connect and immediately disconnect. my wife has a LG dare and hers pairs just fine...

i looked around online and from what i read my phones bluetooth "programming" is different from others...

 

Same exact problem, I have the LG chocolate that won't stay paired. My wife has the LG Venus that works with no problems.

 

I bought mine 2/23 but it had been on the lot since 11/08. Same exact model number, etc. I also have no MDS light and no locking tailgate. My Blackberry Bold sometimes connects immediately and sometimes won't connect until I tell it to. WTF? I never had that problem with my '07 and previous Blackberry. Also, the voice dialing feature will work one day (ex. "Call Wife Mobile") and then other day it translates that into dial 1204 or dial 4605. WTF? I'm getting frustrated. Do I just need a version update?

 

I have an '08 300C and my Samsung Behold won't stay connected to my uconnect, tried having the dealer update the software (not sure which version it is) tested husband's personal (blackberry 8100) and work cell phone (Nextel)- (both work just fine with the uconnect) even had Tmobile replace my phone still under warranty hoping that would solve the problem, spent time troubleshooting with them and then finally read through the installation book and it shows a website to look up compatible phones with the system, hopes this helps others out there.

Unfortunately my samsung behold is not on the list, it won't stay connected long enough to use it, bummer. Hopefully there will be a fix in the future, I plan on calling their customer support on Monday, 877-855-8400.

 

Well the '09 model year is not an option on the Dodge link.

I don't have a REN unit, I have the RER, but I've had no problems with pairing or keeping paired with my 3G iPhone.

 

I have version 9.293 , the way I bought it, build date Feb 09 for the radio, got it off Ebay, there is a sticker 9.293 on the back of the radio. I got it in Michigan

 

I have the same version software you do with a newer build date. I have no problems with bluetooth except when my wife gets in the truck with her phone. She keeps her bluetooth on so it pairs with hers and I can't get mine to work until she shuts off her bluetooth. My old razor doesn't have bluetooth that is on all the time, have to temp. turn it on., But have not had problems with the REN radio.

 

When you paired the phones did you put one as a priority, what I did was make mine the priority so no matter what if my phone gets a call and her phone is using the uconnect she gets the boot. You might need to re pair the phones and make yours the I forget what they called it Like Priority 1 or 2...you can number it so the highest number is the phone the overrides the system.
