How many Dodge Rams have you owned before your 2009?
I thought it would be interesting to take a poll and see how many Dodge trucks people have owned before picking up a 2009? It seems like there are quite a few people who are knew to the Dodge family.
I'll start. I've had 2. A 2005 RCLB 4.7 and a 2007 QCSB Laramie.

This would be my first Dodge/Chrysler ever, i've had 2 Fords( F350 and a Lightning) a 86 Gmc S15( first truck) and i am presently driving a 06 nissan frontier!! I drove buy a dealership and saw the 09 Rams and fell in love with the styling and ride so i made the deal last week!!! cant wait
Hmm.... that's odd. I don't know why that is.
I've owned 1. It was a 1996 Ram 1500 extended cab. I kept it for 10 years. When I got rid of it, I thought I would never own a Dodge again. I had 3 transmissions, and 2 manifold gaskets go bad within 56K miles. I wouldn't have the 09 except someone hid me head on in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. Totalled it and the other vehicle. The other person crosses the center line on a highway. My wife and I test drove the Fords, Chevy and Dodge pickups. There was something to like in all three. It came down to who had the best deal at the time we purchased. Dodge won hands down on the price, incentive and warranty.
I have to say that the 2009 Ram is nothing like the 1996 that I had. It rides better, much tighter turning radius, and gas mileage is not that bad for a hemi. I hope to have this vehicle for at least 10 years, if not more.
Not sure why, but the site won't let me vote in the poll even though I am logged in.
