Default Got my Cooper Zeon LTZ 305/50/20s on Today

They came in from Dallas and I got them on today. I think they look awesome. Glad I went with this size and not the 305/55/20 given that I have a 2wd and I don't plan to lift it.

I'm sure a bunch of you want to know the following:

- So far they ride great. They're a little louder at 65-80 speeds, but not too loud. If anyone has exhaust done or your radio on then you won't be able to tell. They're nothing like a pair of BFG M/Ts.

- They only rub a little on one side when the wheels are fully cranked. I don't expect this to be a problem. I could probably get other rims to remedy this, but I've decided that I like the way my rims look, especially with the new tires.

Here are the pics:

"They only rub a little on one side." (305/55)

The clear choice - 275/60 - 33" & NO clearance issue!

Thanks for the heads up.
Yup. The 305/55/20s would rub even more. If anyone doesn't want them to rub at all then you're going to need to get some different wheels, have a 4x4 or get the leveling kit. Personally it doesn't bother me, but it's good for everyone to know.

You have a 4x4. The clear choice for you, not for him...

Looks good SOBO

Those tires give your truck a completely different look.

Do those tires stick out past the fenders?

Eh... not really. Like 1/4" or 1/2". Enough to spray a little water or dirt onto the side of the truck, but not enough to be noticeable by law enforcement (damn rules in CA - I'm assuming that's why you're asking).

I couldn't tell by the pics, but I like the "tucked in the fender" look. In CA they won't bust you for your tires sticking way out, but they'll throw the book at you for no front license plate.

Yeah... technically we need to have front license plates, but I've never been pulled over for it.

Getting back to the tires, it's an in between. They almost give the appearance of sticking out more than they actually do.
