Default Taking Votes on whats next

Hey Gang

So here are my options, please cast your vote..

With things a little tight, I have to pick one of these to do right now, the rest will have to wait.

A) Spray On bedliner <To get rid of the plastic one I have>

B) Aftermarket backup/park assist setup <NOT the MOPAR one, a two sensor kit similar to OEM, speaker systems tells driver when he is close>

C) Toneau cover

Spray on liner, cause i think that back bedliner is just ugly, but afraid of it scratching my paint. The backup assist cause as this is my first truck, its a pain in the *** to backup. And the tonaeu cover to keep things dry, and save on gas (Though i think mythbusters proved that load to actually be a load of BS)

Acutally, mythbusters proved that it wasnt a load of bs. The load of bs was riding with talegate down or off. Unless you used that web thing, then it was good again. Tale gate up was good, but cover and web showed the best signs for mpg.

Scuff the paint? You mean sand it away? Thats why they did for my liner, they took the paint in the bed off, made sure there was no rust and then put primer and then liner.

I think that's what he means.. It's part of the prep process or else the liner wouldn't be as durable. When the paint underneath would come off so would the liner.

Depends on what you use your truck for. They all seem like good options but the price range is huge. You could prob spray your liner and get the backup assist for the same price as the cover. Or just get used to driving the truck and scratch the back up assist

On a new truck they should just lightly sand the paint in the bed so that the bedliner sticks. No need to sand the paint completely off and re-prime the bare metal.

My vote is for the spray in bed liner.

A guy at my work put stacks on his and when they drilled the hole in the bed they peeled the liner off the piece of metal and it looked like they ran a wire wheel over it.

A
C

In that order, only because the Tonneau cover would have to come off to do the bedliner. Otherwise the Tonneau cover would go first.
