Default Windshield squeak

644 miles and I've developed a windshield squeak. Just noticed it this morning. Not real cold out either.

Anyone else have this problem?

I would bet it is the hood and not the windshield.

Does your stops hit your hood when it closes?

I will double check it but it sounds like the windshield from inside the cabin. I'd prefer it be the hood stops!

Stops appear to be touching the hood. Are you suggesting they should or shouldn't be?

I also had a rattle/squeak coming from the front passenger side. It turned out to be the hood rubbing against the plastic block that is just to either side of the adjustable hood stops. I found that if i pushed lightly on the side of the hood it squeaked. I adjusted the hood stops, placed weather stripping on the plastic blocks next to the hood stops and shot some wd40 around the plastic blocks. No more squeak/rattle. I would post some pixs, but my digital camera died last week. Not sure this will correct your problem, but it did for me.

Nope not a hiss.
I just got in from work and it didn't creak on the way home. It did going in. We'll see. It's raining now and nothing is wet so it doesn't appear to be leaking.

To be continued...

Doesn't your warranty cover issues like this? I am not a mechanic so I have to rely on THEM for problems.
I understand it was a simple repair, but they are going to work for every cent I spent on my truck.

the warranty should cover this. It was just easier for me to fix than go to the dealer. I most likely will have them check any issues out when I take it in for an oil change.
