Default Anyone else with solid rear window on Laramie?

I've had me 2009 Laramie for about 3 months now and I have yet to see another one with the solid rear glass/window like mine. I have some dumb "preferred package" that adds the hitch and navigation and replaced the sliding rear glass with a solid one. I'm just curious as to what advantage it is to have this solid glass and if anyone else has this on a Laramie.

No advantage. You loose the ability to crack the back window to shut up the excessive wind noise created by lowering the front side windows. The only way it's an advantage to NOT have one is if plan to turn it into a 4 wheeled stereo. In that case, the slider will rattle big time and sound almost as ****ty as the "music".

With the slider you loose the window defroster.

The sliding window gives you advantage of a pass through which is handy on a short bed, like last week I had to pickup up some 12 foot replacement boards for my deck, just slide them through the back window and you can carry 12 foot boards with the shorty bed.
