I've had my truck since december with 17k miles and can use my fingers and toes to count how many 09's I've seen since. Maybe its just my area but I rarely ever see an 09 ram and when I do see one its usually a base model company truck. I've seen two laramies and one sport. 09 Fords are all over the place. It doesn't really bother me, my truck is unique even if it's stock in my area

Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

 

Not only do I rarely see any '09's on the road, I rarely see any at the dealerships. I'm in the tri-state area, and as far as searching dealer inventory goes, I only come up with a handful. Maybe they aren't updating the sites.

 

I see the same here. just a few, I frequently see maybe a dozen. Lots are empty too. One dealer, though, has about 10 '09's on the lot and has 6 or so '10's coming in.

 

A few months ago I passed my local dealer and saw no less than 100 2009 1500's on the lot. Last night I went back by and they didn't have a single one. I haven't noticed anymore on the road either, maybe 5 others in my area.

well, i have one of them sitting under my carport just waiting for me to get home and throw some mods on it! I hope that when i get home i don't see alot of them around.. i bought an new body style 07 GMC sierra when they first came out and now they are everywhere. but even if they start popping up everywhere i'm pretty sure my truck will stand out in a crowd!

 

Down here around the houston area it's hard not to see one, they are everywhere. I also just made a trip to dallas for the ufc and saw plenty of them on the road.

 

There are a ton of them around here is San Antonio Texas.

 

Down south is where they all go! Everyone always stops us, and says thats one of those new ones.

 

I see the 09 RAms on the dodge lots, even less on the road, I do see a lot of new F-150 on ford lots and out on the road, The 09 RAm has not won over a lot of my truck buddy's looking for a new pick up.

Price wise the 09 Rams don't have a advanage over Ford, or GM, A lot of people I know hate dodge and GM for the bail outs.

The 09 Ram is a hell of a nice car with a box, a verry quick, great handeling car with a box, all the utility for a half ton is in the 09 Ram, but the truck feel of the 3rd gen is not in the 4rth gen Ram.

 

i think ive seen 3 rams on the road.. and when i see them i try to chase em down to check em out..

but yeah.. the other day when i went to pick up my body colored paint from the dealer (lil fukin can for $12) there were only 3 white rams there...

wonder where they are all going?
