Default 20 inch wheel question

Hey all, without recapping the headaches i have had with a steering shimmy, the dealer finally said it was a bad rim, problem is all but gone now, can anyone tell me if you get alot of road feedback when doing 65-70 mph. Just wondering what its supposed to feel like since my truck shimmied since day one. And i also noticed if im driving on gravel or dirt the steering seems to want to steer itself, almost like its very sensitive or light so to speak. Sorry if it sounds ridiculous but i want to make sure the problem is fixed for good.

Yes, the steering is very light. One of the complaints the reviewers had.

Thanks topgun, I was wondering, it almost feels "bouncy" at high speeds, wasn't sure if it was just me.

I have the 20 inch rims, and I haven't experienced any shaking or shimmying. I've taken the truck up to about 90, and I get up to around 65 every day to and from work, no problems.

Ironsides, does your steering seem light, meaning that it almost feels bouncy when your at high speeds?

Is it sports car solid? No. Is it any looser than my '01 Dakota was? Not noticeably.

I've hit pot holes, and it hasn't jarred my steering to one side, and I don't hold the wheel very tight.

I have noticed that air pressure has a lot do with the way my trucks steering response it feels more loose than my 99 does, but if I lower the pressure on the tires,it feels better to me.

if you notice when you pick it up at the dealer you are at the lowest possible tire pressure just before the sensors pick it up, makes for a better ride on the test drive.
