So i was thinking about adding some ten inch subs to my 09 ram. Thing is im not sure whether to get just one sub or get two for under the rear seat. I was looking at rockford fosgate shallow mount subs 300 watts rms does anyone no how these sound or have any recommendations? im keeping the stock radio for now. Also has anyone tryed putting a sub in the center counsle on the bottom with a custom box?

Why use shallow mount subs? I'd personally get a Fox box for a pair of 10s or 12s. His box will handle normal depth subs. I used a Pioneer shallow 10" in my Mega Cab and it did ok. The only advantage to them is the box depth.

 

i need to know what direction you are heading with your system.. You can go with the subs under the rear seat but you wont get much as deeps and loudness is concerned. I would do a single 12 in a ported box as the center console. A single Fi bl or RE SX in the center console with 1500w's would be ideal. All depends on what you are looking for, lmk and i can give you many different options

 

well at first i was thinking the tens under the rear seat but after thinking about it i think i maybe better with a custom box under the center conscle. I may get a better sound. Im not looking for anything huge but a little more then stock. Do they make boxes for this? Or would a go custom and put a single 12 inch in the center?
