Default No Real Spare Tire!

I always knew we had a full size spare, but looking under the truck yesterday I noticed that the spare is a temporary spare with very little tread....WTF???

Since I don't have an LSD rear end (3.55 gears), my right rear tire is wearing faster than the other 3 so I was going to swap out the spare and put it on the right rear, but that's out of the question now. At over $40 grand for a truck and a temp spare - come on!!!!

What gets me mad is that the third gens had 20" spares and they downgraded to this.

Don't feel too bad. If you had bought a 50k+ SRT, Chrysler doesn't even give you a spare. All you get is a can of foam flat fix it garbage.

Go to the junkyard and get the spare from a '02-08 Ram, or just buy a used 33" tire and have it mounted on the wheel.

I know that's what I'll have to do, but I'm just pissed that I have to do that. Like I said before - A truck priced over $40,000 should have a real spare tire, not a wanna be.

My SRT has a full spare, but 20" rim, not 22"

I am stuck on the couch so I can not look right now but I think it said temp spare or something along those lines on the window sticker.

That's what I'm talking about! See guys, we should feel blessed that we even got a spare. And at a bargain price averaging around 40k... LOL
