Diablo installed (93), Fuel Saver light issue
After installing the latest 93 tune from their website (1st tune uploaded to truck) I noticed the fuel saver light is no longer working correctly. It will come on when MDS is not engauged, yes it will go on and off, but on when MDS is not yet engauged. It is easy enough to tell when it does kick in (14 magnaflow exhaust note and tach jumps about 50 RPM). So I know I am not imagining it.

So.... Anyone else with the 93 tune and the light seem to notice this?

Oh, and as I was flashing the truck it began to rain, by the time I was done the streets were wet so tomorrow before I get to test it out. I will say it seems to break them loose easier in the rain than before.
I've been waiting to hear you installed yours, can't afford mine yet but can't wait to here your thoughts. I kinda guessed you'd be one of the first and with more accurate figures to relay having that bad *** Viper as well. I think I remember something about an option to disable and enable it, am I correct? Hope you get it figured out, maybe you can call them if you can't. I'm sure they'd be willing to help.
Well, the Hemi will not compare to my SRT or car, no need to wait for that comparison
Rained all night and still raining, so no testing yet. Light still not right all the way to work. I even left my radio off to pay attention to it kicking in and out.

The problem is more than likely due to the fact that your build date/set up differs from that of FL09RamSport's. I would PM him and see what it is, and see if the difference corresponds to the manufacturing dates for light vs. no light.
I have the Trinity and 93 tune installed in my truck and My Fuel saver is working as it should. I can tell because when the light is on I can barely tap the gas and feel the truck struggle to pull its weight. When the gas is pressed a little more the light goes off and I can feel all 8 cylinders working. I have only used the 93 tune so I cant compare it to the other tunes. There is definetly a difference over stock. The difference is felt in the shifting, longer RPM holds before shifting, going up hills, especially on I-75, and passing on the interstate. The truck will hold its RPMs on uphill climbs and never lose speed. Before the tune if I held the RPMs at, lets say, 3000, the truck would climb but lose speed. I drive the same hill every day to work. Cruising around town feels the same but if you give the gas a little pop around 2300 rpm there is a big difference in the feel of the truck and the sound. There is a lot of power in the higher rpms. If your cruising, at 70 mph, on the interstate and hammer the gas you can feel the power transfer to the rear wheels quickly. Very cool feeling! Someone could easily lose control if not careful when passing on the interstate at full throttle
I dont have any specs or times to give but I hope this helps with describing the 93 tune.

Yea, that is pretty much was I asked on Diablos forum, no answer to date, I bumped the post. 200 miles on the tune and still an issue. Some other person on the Diablo forum said his "got better", not really buying that. It is worse at lower speeds than higher, although when I was in MI this weekend the light came on at 75 on a flat road, all I could do was shake my head....
As for the light going off, that is usually OK. If I am truely in MDS mode and I hit the gas the light goes off. My issue is it comes on when it is not running, or early if you will.
As for the product I am happy. Could be more, we always want more don't we? I plan to get the tune with no TM, but really do not want to pay for that until I know the light is working correctly. As for MPG change, early results (computer) looks good. I will be filling up Wed or Thu and post up that info. The transition in and out of MDS is smoother as well.
