Brylcreem for a truck?
I did this mod to my 07 HEMI Charger and it sounded fantastic!
I removed the front mufflers (a.k.a. "suitcase) and replaced that part of the exhaust with straight pipes welded in place. I left the rear resonators on. It was a great sound --quiet at idle and not too loud on the highway.
Check it out on the Charger forums --it is very popular and only cost me $70.00. The name is strange but that is what they call it.
Anyone try this on an 09 HEMI Ram?

So you basically straight piped the exhaust except for the resonators. I thought about doing this, I was going to remove the muffler and replace it with a y pipe and two straight pipes (I have dual exhaust).
My brother removed the muffler on his 4.7 and it sounds great.
Could you post a vid of this???
