I have a quick question. For anyone who has the Bakflip and a drop in bedliner, where did you run the drain tubes? Is there a drain plug that is covered by the bedliner? Thanks for the help.

Also, did you use shims for the install? Mine didn't come with any.

I'm still curious if others used shims. I didn't and think it came out ok.

 

I didn't get shims or use any, but I did cut a piece of the foam you put on against the bed and placed it near the tailgate part of the rail to stiffen it a bit when it closes.

 

Do you guys have a bedliner with the bedrail protectors? I installed my G2 today and was wondering if the bedrail protectors have to come off.

 

If your talking about the factory bed rail protectors, no they do not need to be removed.
I did not shim mine and everything fit okay.

 

It doesn't seem to sit on the tailgate very well, it seems to sit to high. I will try to get a pic tonight.

 

Sounds like you have the cover installed too far back on the bed and the cover, not the seal is hitting the tailgate.

In that picture it looks like the rear seal is folded under the cover. Did you shut the tailgate without opening the BakFlip? If you have left it like that, the seal is probabally messed up and needs to be replaced now.

The side seal does look a little screwy too. On mine it was molded down at the end of the rail.
