Default Tonneau cover questions

I am looking to spend about 300.00 on a Tonneau Cover and I am looking at the Truxedo sport that velcros and rolls back. Looks nice.

I am also looking at the Advantage Tri-fold...

anyone have any experiences with these styles of covers??

advantages ?/ disadvantages?

TIA

well i have the mopar quad-fold and i love it. its nice because it is a more secure box cover (both ends lock up) also its easy to adjust if for whatever your hauling. And if i do need to take it off it is a 5 min job.

I know people rave about the Truxedo covers but I am so critical of the velcro. I am not sure I can get past it. I would think when its cold the cover would shrink and the cover would be difficult to get on.

The tri-fold style, the cover is in a set position and you just fold the entire frame/cover back. It is always attached. I would just think that would be better in some respects... now the draw back is the bed is a 1/3 covered when folded back. BUT you can remove the whole cover in a minute and take it off the bed.

Ugh. I dotn know what to do... I like both but I am leaning to the adavantage Trifold...

Put your fears to rest milkman. I've had two of them and have never had a problem. Plus if the velcro goes bad, warranty covers a new velcro strip on the rails, or a new cover. The new truxedo mounting is on and off in about ten seconds after you roll it up, completely tool free( at least on the low profile one I have).

Thanks for the reply...

I pulled the trigger on the Torza Top today from Truck add ons...

I could not make up my mind so I let the wifey make the choice...

She liked the folding up design....

Didn't matter to me at this point.. I threw hands in the air and just ordered..

again, thanks for the reply!!
