Default Lights on the Bumper

So I don't have any pics because I'm about 95% done and it's dark (ironic). But I picked up a set of 6" KC Daylighters today and mounted 'em up. They're sitting on the front bumper approx midway between the center and where the tow hooks would sit if they were the same level. Also got my weather tech mats installed and they are AWESOME! Will post pics tomorrow.

Cool...love to see how that turned out. I considered doing the same thing with my lights until I found the light bar I liked. I want those mats too!

Looks great, good job.

I personally really like the idea of the lights behind the grill, more protection and safety of mind. My buddy had KC lights all over his jeep and ppl would cut the wires and rip the lights off.

It's nice to see ppl's creativity on this site considering the low amount of products offered right now, but I'm sure that will pick up in due time.

negative on the yellow covers, black guards look way better for show and usability when the time arises.

Nice job!
You all make it hard for me to decide how to mount my lights
This was the way that was going mount my lights, then Desert Dawg showed his lightbar and there are som others that mounted their lights behind the grill.
I like the clean look without visible lights, but will the lights work good enough if I mount them behind the grill?

I was wondering the same thing about the lights behind the grill, which is the method I would like to do...

I don't see why they wouldn't. I kind of like the "geared up" look so I went with the bumper. I had also read that the lightbar wouldn't work with the sport/TRX bumper because of the plastic. Hence, bumper mount.

So even if you wouldn't do yours this way.... you guys think it looks good??
