Aero Turbine 3030. Louder, meaner and doesn't drone.

I have the same Flowmaster on my truck and was also a little disappointed in the sound. But after removing the resonators, the sound improved a little more, and I can live with it 'til I break down and decide what to try next. Hope this helps.

was the resonator removal something you did on your own, or did ypu have it done?

theres a good chance that the company you buy your muffler from probably has a kit w/o the resonator.

I was worried about the drone being a factor when I first put the 50 series on, but after a few weeks, I went back to the same shop that installed the Flowmaster and had them replace the resonators with pipe. They suggested it the first time I went in, but I wanted the option of being able to go louder later, not having to make it quieter if too loud initially.

I have to agree with Hahns5.2. I had an Aero Turbine muffler on my 2004 Hemi and was very satisfied with it. It had a very good sound, loud enough for most people, and the sound was something like a motor boat sound. Really tough sounding muffler. My wife would always say - I can hear you coming down the street about a block away. I am seriously thinking about putting a 3030 on this Hemi.
