Default 2009 Flash for 2010 features...

How do we go about requesting dodge to create a flash for us '09 owners to have the same EVIC menu system as the 2010 as far as the fuel millage and DTE being on the same screen, tire pressure being deisplayed. And if possible to have the reverse mirror tilt feature as well?

I don't know if they have plans to do this but there are not a whole lot of differences between 09 and 10 so I don't see why it would not be possible.

Do not hold your breath. We already bought our trucks. They have no reason to "enhance" them.

That would be like Windows (microsoft) giving you a free upgrade every year. They only patch your operating system.

Improbable, but not impossible. As long as there isn't a hardware difference between the 2009 and 2010 EVIC, we might see it as an update during routine service. If there is a hardware change, then no way in hell we'll see it.

As for the passenger mirror's reverse tilt, it's do-able on the 2009s. I haven't heard of anyone installing it after the fact, but the hardware is out there. The Laramies with memory seats have the reverse tilt.

I wish Dodge would but I doubt it. Heck, I/we can't get Dodge to provide the fuel saver light on my earlier build Ram hemi. Some say the feature is there. It is just not activated.

I'm hoping for a dead pixel or some type of evic malfunction that would result in replacement.

My understanding is that with an EVIC replacement you get all of the new features. I have the reverse tilt mirrors and for me it's a lifesaver backing out of both my driveway and the parking lot at work.

Reverse tilt mirrors only come when you have the heated seats as far as I have found on the 09.
It would be a perfect world if Chrysler would give us all a new EVIC but give your head a shake. Parts change and are not interchangeable. Radios are not longer Harmon Becker, they are Mitsubishi and one of the connections is not on anytime built 09. So I guess they should give us a new radio too.
How do you think they know of what changes to make, we all complain in these forums and at the dealerships. Now the next model is out and they listened to some of the complaints, like the EVIC display for one.
For the price we paid also I don't think they owe us anything but warranty and good service when we bring it in. Good luck to all of you trying to wreck your EVIC so you can have a stupid fuel saver light.
