Default Cat Back Borla Exhaust Installed

Hey just got back from the dealer with my brand new cat back borla system.

It sounds like heaven, its amazing i love it. It is loud when you put your foot in it but cruising with rpms under 2000, you can barely hear it, and at idle it is a deep rumble, not excessivly loud.... Its just what i was looking for im so happy with it. I will have a video up tonight!

oh and the tips are so incredible!

How about a picture of what it looks like under the rear. The Borla duals for the last gen trucks had the pipe to the driver's side going real low across the pumpkin.

Any particular reason you went with the full cat back as opposed to just changing the muffler? I assume you have a Sport from your screen name.

Hey, Well i was going to get a muffler because it was cheaper and it would sound great.
However i would rather have a proper system with HP/TQ gains etc, instead of just the sound. Its the same with hood scoops i wanted the sport hood but they are fake scoops so im going to get a proper hood scoop... just how i like to do things, and then i got in a fender bender and some guy hit me from behind and bent up my stock exhaust, so i took the oppourtunity to get a cat back system, the dealer put it on for me, and i love it. However i am going to look under it to see about the pipeing!

I also put the borla system on my 09 dodge as well and it sounds awsome. I have always prefered flowmaster but decided to try borla and im real impressed.

Congrats on the new mod. Borla makes a very nice product, but $1200 for a catback is a little much.

Yea, let me correct myself. I installed a borla muffler and new bumper. I went ahead and had the exhaust shop do the exhaust( bend the pipe). i was told that the truck doesnt move enough air to warrent spending the extra money on "borla" pipes. Don't get me wrong, I would rather have the mandrel bends but I didnt want to spend the money.

Same with the F150's. Had to remove the left tail to get the diff cover off when I regeared the 05 Lariat. Dodge did a great job tucking the stainless tails up and around the spare on the sports. The Bora sido muffler does have a great deep tone though.
