I recently bought a kegger and tb off a member here. I done the kegger mod and im going to make/order the plenum plate. Now the factory one that comes off my truck will be for sale. Im going to mod it, Cut the tb down, Put a plenum plate on there, And paint it. Now I will need a 80$ core charge but when I receive your kegger and tb, I will refund. Keep in mind how much the plenum plate is. And my labor involved. How much would you pay for me to make one to your specs and send it to you?
You should sell it stock, not modded. It's been debated (still is) on exactly how much should be cut off the runners and at what angel. Everyone has their own valid theory.
Well on that whole 5.2 vs. 5.9 runner thing, Think about it. A motor is only going to bring in as much air as it needs. Its not like a super charged, And theres so little difference between the 5.2 and the 5.9 I dont think that I would ever make any difference. Hell theres 5.2's with air gaps out there. Thats as good as you can get with these trucks, And they run no problem. Thats just my opinion though.
Read up on what ram indy and silver dodge have to say about it and you'll say other wise. Me personally, I would actually pay less for a modded kegger or TB just because I would want it done my way specifically.
