2001 dodge dakota SLT+ for sale low miles
never thought I'd do this, but Im going to list my truck on here. This was my late grandfathers truck, he died when I was 16 and my parents bought out the rest of the lease because he wanted me to have it. Earlier this year, I officially bought it off my mother (although I drove and maintained it since 2003 when it had only 2,000 miles on it). So, Im the 3rd owner, although it has been in my family its whole "life".
here are the specs
2001 club cab, 3.9 v6, 42RE auto, 8.25 open rear with 3.55's bright white. 68xxx miles The truck literally has 4 brand new hankook ventus tires on it with under 1500 miles on them. No real mods to speak of, I have a CAI, but will be pulling that off putting stock one back on. The paint is perfect, and even underneath the truck looks really good. There is a spot of rust on the front bumper and a little surface rust on the chrome on the rear bumper.
I always changed the oil every 3k miles with a synthetic oil, changed the transmission fluid and filter last fall. Also changed rear end fluid last fall. There are no problems with the truck I can think of. The only reason I want to sell it, is because Ive wanted an R/T since I was 12 years old. I'd like to get a single cab R/T with below 70k miles, but I would consider a club cab R/T. If anyone has one they want to trade for a good DD, let me know and we might can work something out.
Otherwise: Im asking $6,000
also, the truck has all new front brake pads, rotors, lines, and calipers. still asking 6,000
