Default Leveling kit and fuel mileage

I'm about to put the Rough country leveling kit on my truck, but was curious if anyone has experienced any decline in fuel mileage since putting a leveling kit on their truck. Also, has anyone had any problems with the rough country kit.

The higher your truck is of the ground the less fuel efficient it is, more turbulance from all the components underneath = more drag. Take note of NASCAR, they hug the road. Mileage should not drop more than a mile or two if that. Tires would probably make the bigger difference, the more aggressive the tire the less mileage you will get.

I installed the 2.5" TGC level kit and 305/55/20s on my 2009 and I haven't seen a bad drop in mileage. Maybe 1 mpg per tank full. I'm averaging about 14 MPG. I don't drive it hard, although I whooped a Toyota Tundra on I-26 the other day. He saw me coming up on him pretty fast so he slid over and straddled the centerline to impede my passing. I didn't mind passing him in the emergency lane. My 18" Magnaflow let him know who had the ponies....

I drive a ton for work, so Im very **** about watching my fuel economy. I put a 2 1/2" level kit on, but I also added 275/65/20 tires on at the same time. I drive 105 miles per day on average, most of which is on highways with medium sized hills that are constant ( very little flat road). before the level kit and tires, I was averaging 17.2 mpg which was checked every fill up. After the level and tires I used my Super chips to get the tire size correct, but didnt change the tune for 3 tanks full. I was averaging about 15.6 mpg. I then used the programmer to set up the truck on mileage tune, and I am now averaging 16.8 mpg. I also have a cold air intake, but it was on there before the level.

What gears are you running? I have the 3.92's and I never get that kind of mileage with the same setup. I to have the Superchip's tuner but I have only corrected the Speedo and have not installed the tune.

I have the leveling kit and 295/70/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers and I am geting 12 mpg and that would be about 60/40 highway to in town with stoplights. I drive 16 miles to work so 32/day and thats going easy on the foot. I also have the 4.7L and the 3.55 gears and no mods on the truck besides the wheels.
