Default A/C on by default!!!

Does anyone know if I can change the A/C to be off by default when I start the truck.

Everytime I start the truck, the A/C turns on. I have to push the button to turn it off. This happens even if the A/C was off before I shut the truck down.

I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but I have remote start, and I use this to heat the truck up in the morning before I get in it. It would be better if the A/C were off during this process...

Please help if you can...

Thanks

Only way that should happen is if you have the temp dial all the way over to max cool - which forces the AC on

Ahh....

Thanks a bunch. I didn't think about that. I have the dual temperature control, so there is no **** to turn, but I bet I have it set all the way down.

Thanks for the help...

its set to come on automatically to humidify the air, and it will turn on once in while if you haven't used it in a while (ie in the cold winter months) to help lubricate the compressor.

Check your EVIC and make sure that you don't have the Comfort Assist system on. This will control your climate when using a remote start.

Couldn't you just turn the A/C dial to off?
