My plastic tailgate cover is pretty beat up from loading/unloading my motorcycle with scratches and one side is actually is broken and pops up 1/2'' or so. I would love to line-x but it would look stupid due to the holes underneath the plastic trim.....anyone have any suggestions as what to do??

 

Buy a new one and then have it coated?

 

I tried to get one plasma cut out of aluminum, but it didn't work out. The guy wasn't that good with a cutting table plasma machine. I got to find someone better. I would think someone would come up with a better one....

Mine broke a few days after I got the truck while I was putting a fridge in the back. Plastic and truck just don't go together.....

 

agreed, it's junk.

 

ive had mine replaced twice due to the clips breaking. they are pretty crappy. i wouldnt mind a good stainless set that would replace all the plastic moldings on top of the box
