Default Need Help with Loose post DVD Headrest

Hey Gang, In need of some help....

I finally got my DVD Headrest setup installed. Total bill was $530 installed, they quoted me the wrong price, glad they did cause the installer sucked!

After I did a little cleanup to hide the wires master installer of 14years did, i noticed the headrests dont move up and down. The reason is that the adapter rings that you put over the posts to get the fit right are either too small or too big, so he had to use one really tight and one loose. The plus is that they dont rattle, and are not going anywhere.

So my question is anyone run into this? Any suggestions? Cant afford the MOPAR install, setup, on a tight budget, so this is what i have to work with.

The color match is 100% dead on though. The brand is Fahrenheit, they are 9" screens with the leather cover to hide the screens. for $530 with wireless headphones, im not going to complain.

Thanks as always gang.

I have never moved up and down my headrest. So why you want to do it?

Good point, but the posts closest to the inside of truck on both headrests are not as tight as the ones on the outside. Its not that they have a lot of play and move, but if there are any ideas or tips people have come across, would like to try and remedy it..

To your point, I think I moved the headrests one time in the two years I have had the truck..

But on the other hand it will be interesting to know a fix just in case i encounter the same problem in the future. I'm thinking about getting a set also!
